In the desert, you and I
Could strike a match to our names
And cease to exist; momentarily,
Watching the flames roll over
And twist around stones-
Burning marks over the scars of
Our past. Making new ones.
It is here we can beckon
Our demons, and have them
Walk forth with us, on our journey.
To the unknown, flower petals,
Rushing waterfalls of endless
Fresh-water seas.
Just walk with me a little,
(my hand motions for yours)
And perhaps we can unlock the
Secrets of this world,
Infinite sand box; Infinite fields
of grass and clouds.
No sounds but the beating of our
Hearts,
No guide but the random acts
Of our footsteps.
Let me be naked in this never-ending
Fairy Tale.
Let us walk until we find something
Living.
